Hopkinton Library Holds Pickup Starting 3/19

The library is making a limited holds pickup service available to Hopkinton residents beginning Thursday, March 19.

Pickups will be by appointment only, and limited to 5 items per pickup. To request materials and make an appointment, you must call the library between 10 am and 4 pm, Monday through Saturday, and speak directly with a staff member. The library's phone number is 508-497-9777. We cannot honor hold pickup requests left on voicemail or submitted by e-mail at this time - please call us between the stated hours.

Binge Watch Your Favorite HCAM Shows!

Programming Note from Matt Clark: "Running out of shows to watch on Netflix? Has it been a while since you've seen your favorite show on HCAM-TV? Then we've got the perfect solution! Starting on Thursday, March 19th from 12 to 5 pm, HCAM will be airing marathon blocks of your favorite shows! The first marathon will feature various episodes of Meet Your Neighbor, and will be followed at the same time on Friday with All About Hopkinton. Tune in for some classic HCAM fun!"

The Library Will Be Closed To The Public Monday, March 16 Through Saturday March 21

The library will be closed to the public between Monday, March 16 and Saturday, March 21. We are committed to supporting the health of the Hopkinton community and will be using this time to make operational adjustments to accommodate the social distancing recommendations that have released by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Hopkinton Center for the Arts Closed through April 3rd with the exception of private music/art lessons

Hopkinton Select Board Vice Chair, John Coutinho was at the Mayors office in Boston this morning to help announce the Boston Marathon has been postponed to Monday, September 14th due to the Coronavirus threat. He dropped by the HCAM studios to tell us about the postponement.

Hopkinton Garden Club “Container Gardening”, March 17th CANCELLED

As our country grapples with the spread of COVID-19, the health and safety of our program participants and the public at large is paramount. Consequently, we are following the recommendation from the state health department not to hold large gatherings. We are cancelling our business meeting, and "Container Gardening" presentation with Jeffrey Doherty on March 17th. We will continue to monitor developments and evaluate whether we are able to reschedule this program for a later date.

Video: Select Board Recognizes Hopkinton Women's Club

The Select Board recognized the Hopkinton Women's Club for 100 years of community service to the town, the organization was found in 1920. Throughout their existence the organization has created many well known events and programs to inform and benefit the Town. One of the many big contributions is their annual "Meet the Candidates" night program on HCAM in which they ask question to Town Election candidates, they also have created many Scholarship opportunities for Hopkinton students.
