Weston Nurseries Owner, Peter Mezitt was recently featured on our Hopkinton Hangout Hour program and talk about how business is going. Peter mentioned that many have taken up gardening throughout the pandemic and that Weston Nurseries has acquired a new location.

The Hopkinton Public Library is pleased to announce the creation of a long-range plan for fiscal years 2022-2027. Based on community feedback collected in 2020, the new plan will guide the library's work and priorities for the next five years.

In the 2nd half of the show, Tom Nappi talks with local volunteers from the Sewa International organization about their local food drive efforts.

Representatives from the worldwide organization, Sewa International joined me to talk about their food drive which is raising items for local organizations such as "Project Just Because". Learn more about the food drive in the segment below and catch the entire conversation with the local Sewa International volunteers about some of the wonderful work they are doing in the community on Wednesday, March 10th during the 2nd half of our Hopkinton Hangout Hour program at 7:30pm.

This past Wednesday, Town Officials and Department Heads met via zoom in "all hands meeting" to discuss next years budget, department goals and vision for the future. Some of whom spoke included Town Manager, Norman Khumalo, Fire Chief, Stephen Slaman, Police Chief, Joseph Bennett, School Superintendent, Dr. Carol Cavanaugh and DPW Director, John Westerling.
