Massachusetts Building Trades Council votes unanimously to call for a statewide suspension of all regular activity at construction sites in Massachusetts

MALDEN, MA – Today, the Executive Board of the 75,000 member Massachusetts Building Trades Council voted unanimously to call on Massachusetts Governor Charles Baker to declare a statewide suspension of all regular activity at construction sites in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts beginning Friday April 3rd and continuing through April 30th.

All town buildings are closed to the public; although we are “open” for business. Parks, Playgrounds and Playing Fields are closed.

Hopkinton Youth and Family Services Gift Card Program Update

Thank you to those that have donated. The gift cards have been put to use. As members of the community have been impacted the needs are increasing! If you are in a place and would like to donate you can place a gift card in an envelope marked Youth and Family Services and drop it in the box outside the town hall door. The mail is being checked twice a day and it will get distributed to the department. The ecards have been working as well!
