The Hopkinton High School Athletic Hall of Fame 5th Induction Ceremony November 5th

Total of nineteen inductees over eight decades, between 1935 and 2007.

There is a father and son duo being inducted in this class. From the class of 1935, Duncan Hamilton, a star football and basketball player. His son, DP, class of 1967, was a 3 sport standout in football, basketball and baseball.

For the second exhibition of its second season, the new HCA Gallery presents two established artists who have developed their work in the nearby Holliston Mill studios. We are honored to exhibit Arlene Chaplin's vibrant acrylic and mixed media work and Laurie Leavitt's crisp woodcut prints. You can view several of the works in our gallery page.

Dr. Cappetta to Speak About Grief at Single Again Meeting October 28

Dr. Vinnie Cappetta, a licensed counselor specializing in grief counseling, with be discussing “What it Means to Enlarge Our Souls through Grief and Loss” at the Single Again meeting being held at 7:00 p.m. on October 28. The Single Again meeting is open to the public and will take place at the Parish Hall of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 61 Wood Street in Hopkinton.

Hopkinton Volleyball Hosting “DIG PINK” for Cancer Research and Support

The Hopkinton Hiller Volleyball teams will host a DIG PINK match at the Hopkinton High School Athletic Center on Friday, October 14th, to raise awareness of the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer.

The Hillers will be facing the Bellingham Blackhawks on this special night. The fun begins at 4:30pm with the Freshman match, followed by the JV match at 5:30pm.

The Varsity match will start at approximately 6:30pm in the Athletic Center.

Required Flow Test on 132 East Main St. could cause water discoloration

Please be advised that a required flow test for 132 East Main St. will be conducted on Thursday, October 13th at approximately 9:00AM. Due to the large volume of water that will be flowed, there may be some discoloration in the water throughout town. The test should last about half an hour and we ask you to please check your water before using it after the test. If you experience any discoloration, please run your cold water line to help clear your pipes.

Message from Hopkinton HS Principal, Evan Bishop Regarding Threatening Clowns

Dear students and parents,

I am writing to address the concerns recently raised in the media regarding threatening clowns. We take these concerns very seriously as the health and safety of our students is always our first priority. We will work closely with the Hopkinton Police Department to assess the credibility of any threats and related risks to our students and our community.

Open Mic & Community Songwriting with Singer/Songwriter Barbara Kessler at the HCA Friday October 7th

This Friday, October 7, join us at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts for a special ArtWeek Boston event: Open Mic & Community Songwriting with Singer/Songwriter Barbara Kessler. Barbara is a former national touring singer-songwriter with five albums and numerous awards and song credits in both television and film.

6:30pm: Community songwriting exercise
7:15pm: Open Mic sign-ups
7:30pm: Music starts

This event is free and open to the public, but a $5 donation is appreciated. Free to HCA members.
