Hopkinton Boy Scout Troop 4 Pancake Breakfast & Silent Auction

Hopkinton Boy Scout Troop 4 is holding a pancake breakfast and silent auction on Saturday, April 9 at St. John's Parish Center, 20 Church Street, from 7:30 to 11:30 AM. The scouts will serve original pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, and gluten/nut/dairy free waffles. Breakfast includes sausage, juice, coffee, tea, and more! General admission is $6, $4 for senior citizens, and veterans eat free.

HHS Dismissed Early Due To Boiler Issues 4/4/16

Dear High School Parents,

We are experiencing some heating issues today at the high school. The boilers are currently not working properly and our efforts to fix the boilers this morning are taking longer than expected. Temperatures in many of the classrooms are around 60 degrees at this time, creating a very difficult environment for teaching and learning to take place.

Deceased Male Found in Hopkinton Identified

HOPKINTON – Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan and Hopkinton Police Chief Edward Lee have announced a positive identification of the body of an adult male found at a recycling center in Hopkinton on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Shane Priester, 39, no recent address. As this death is not considered suspicious, no additional information will be released.

Gypsy Moths & Winter Moths - What Can You Do?

Ken Gooch, Director of the Forest Health program for the Mass Department of Conservation & Recreation, will speak about the destructive gypsy moth and winter moth pests, their impact on forests, and steps to reduce the damage they cause. The program will be on April 17, 7:00 PM at the Upton VFW, 15 Milford Street, Upton.

The Xaverian Missionaries at Fatima Shrine (101 Summer Street, Holliston) invite you to celebrate the jubilee of mercy in the spirit of the Beatitudes. Our next gathering will be April 10th beginning at 3:30 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM. This fifth presentation will be guided by members of Catholic Charities of Boston, and the theme will be: "Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied."
