“Lose it for the Library!” Challenge Generates $2500 for the Library Building Project

Hopkinton Public Library Foundation, Inc. (HPLF) has received another exciting boost in its fundraising via the Hopkinton Weight Loss Challenge. With the help of 167 participants, “Lose it for the Library” raised $2,500 for the planned restoration, renovation and expansion of Hopkinton Public Library.

Town of Hopkinton seeks a Part-Time (up to 19 hours) Young Adult Librarian

Under the direct supervision of the Library Director the Young Adult Librarian is responsible for managing the Young Adult Services (age 12 to 18) for the library. This includes providing library resources, services and programs aimed at the young adults in the community, assessing their needs, developing and maintaining school and community relationships, creating effective web pages and maintaining library presence in teen social media forums.

Deb Holbrook Announces Candidacy for Town Clerk

My name is Deb Holbrook, and I am pleased to announce that I am running for the office of Hopkinton Town Clerk!

Being a resident of Hopkinton since 2007, I have served the town in various ways as a volunteer for the Board of Health, the Hopkinton Veteran’s Celebration Committee, Baypath Humane Society, and the Hopkinton Women’s Club, to name a few.
