Hopkinton Earns Insurance Premium Credits through MIIA Rewards Program

Hopkinton has received $15,506 back on its workers compensation and property casualty insurance costs – applicable toward premiums for the next fiscal year—thanks to an incentive program offered by the Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association (MIIA), its insurance provider. Hopkinton earned the credits through proactive and voluntary participation in loss prevention and risk management activities throughout the year, conducted in partnership with MIIA.

Roadwork Notice: Saddle Hill closed from Clydesdale Rd. to Equestrian Dr. Tomorrow (8-24 7am-2:30pm)

Saddle Hill Rd will be closed from Clydesdale Rd to Equestrian Dr on 8/24 from 7am-2:30pm so crews can replace a collapsed drain pipe near #43.

Detour will be in place through Equestrian Dr, Appaloosa Cir and Clydesdale Ln.

Video: Ballot Machines Tested at Hopkinton Town Hall for State Primary

This past week, the Ballot Machines were tested at Hopkinton Town Hall for the upcoming State Primary Election. Girl Scout, Julianna Lucas was in attendance as part of her Gold Award project to encourage voting among youth. The election will take place on Tuesday, September 4th at Hopkinton Middle School. Video: Board of Selectmen Recognizes 2 Girl Scout Gold Award Recipients

The Board of Selectmen met in Town Hall for the first time in over a year on August 7th. During the meeting, the Board recognized 2 Hopkinton Girl Scouts who earned the Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can receive. Melissa Hayes and Grace Darkow recently received the Gold Award for completing their projects which serve to benefit the community. 2018 State Primary Warrant and Ballot Released

Hopkinton Town Clerk, Connor Degan has revealed the 2018 Primary Warrant and Ballots. The election will take place on Tuesday, September 4th.

Contested races on the Democratic Party ballot include: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Representative in Congress and District Attorney. On the Republican Ballot, contested races include: Senator in Congress, Governor and Attorney General. View the full Ballot and signed Warrant above.
