eHOP reported there are now 4 contested races in this years Hopkinton town election. HCAM will be hosting a debate for contested races, Tuesday May 10th at a time to be determined, stay tuned for updates.

Hopkinton Democrats Called to Caucus

Hopkinton Democrats are called to caucus to nominate Democrats for election to town offices. Please help us select candidates for the Town Election on March 24th. If you would like to consider running for a position, and/or if you have any other questions, please contact Darlene Hayes at 508-435-6585.

The caucus will meet in the lower level of Town Hall on Thursday, March 24 at 7:30 PM. The caucus will be convened at that time by Darlene Hayes.

Hopkinton Presidential Primary Results

The results are in for the Presidential Primary in Hopkinton. On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton edged Bernie Sanders 1435-1248. In the Democratic Primary 2,716 Hopkinton residents voted. Chris Walsh and Karen Spilka won the uncontested State Committee races.

The Republican primary drew 2,214 voters and Donald Trump finished 1st with 748 votes. Marco Rubio was a close 2nd place with 601 votes and John Kasich was 3rd place with 571 votes. Ted Cruz finished 4th in Hopkinton with 191 votes.
