Greg Mazur an entrepeneur who owns 30 through 34 Main street in downtown Hopkinton applied for a permit to change parking capacity regulations so his tenant's food shops Vinny's Pizza and the soon to be open Yogurt Beach can have 18 seats each.

Town Hall Basement Now Open

The Town Engineer would like to announce the Town Hall Basement Project has been completed and the fully accessible basement is now open to the public once again.

The Basement Project included the installation of a drainage system, sump pumps, repair/replacement of the floors and walls and renovation of the rest rooms.

Sorry for any inconvenience this project may have caused while this necessary work was being completed. Thank you for your patience and support!

Hopkinton Democrats are Called to Caucus!

Hopkinton Democrats will gather on Thursday 4/9 at Hopkinton Town Hall in room 215.
The purpose of our get-together will be to select Democratic candidates for Hopkinton boards such as the Board of Selectmen, the Planning Board, the School board, etc.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE DEMOCRATIC TOWN COMMITTEE TO ATTEND, PARTICIPATE, VOTE, OR RUN FOR A TOWN BOARD.

The only requirement is that you be a registered Democrat.

Please join us. The caucus will convene at 7:30pm.

Special Town Election Results 3-10-2015

The Board of Selectmen proposal to purchase about 12 acres of land at 203 Pond Street for $2,000,000 failed the required 2/3rd's vote at the Special Town Meeting held on Tuesday March 3rd but the Special Town Election had to be held either way. The Town Election meant very little, if the yes vote passed for the town to purchase the land at 203 Pond Street it would have only meant something in the unlikely event the town was granted an extension of its right to first refusal.
