Massachusetts Launches a COVID-19 Text Message Notification System Text “COVIDMA” to 888-777 for Important Updates

BOSTON — The Baker-Polito Administration today announced the launch of a new text-based notification system to deliver important information about the Commonwealth’s COVID-19 response to Massachusetts residents.

“Throughout this outbreak, we have consistently reminded our residents to get their information from trusted sources. Today we’re making that easier,” said Governor Charlie Baker. “With the addition of this new communication tool, we’re making it easier for everyone to stay informed about state actions and important announcements related to COVID-19.”

HCAM presents the "Hopkinton Hangout Hour" the daily show will air on our YouTube page and on HCAM TV (Comcast Channel 8, Verizon Channel 30) daily starting this Wednesday (3/25) from 2 to 3pm. This daily hour-long show will typically have two thirty minute segments and the conversations will feature many various topics.

COVID-19 Updates & Precautions March 18, 2020 PM update

Town Officials and Emergency Management personnel continue to monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 public health emergency. Hopkinton’s Health Department is actively monitoring 25 residents, 3 are confirmed COVID-19 cases and 22 are under direct supervision with the Department. Over the past 24 hours, Hopkinton has seen two new cases, but removed two cases from monitoring. We continue to implement mitigation strategies to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 in the community.
