Editorial: Supporting Amy Ritterbusch for Planning Board

By contributor,

Dear Editor,

I am happy to endorse Amy Ritterbusch for one of the two open positions on the Hopkinton Planning Board. I am fortunate to have worked with Amy in several capacities over the last 12 years. I continue to be amazed by the breadth of her knowledge and her commitment to each group, to each task. I have so much respect for her and all she gives to our community.

Editorial: “Marty Lamb for Republican State Committee, Proven Leadership”

By contributor,

In 2013 and 2014, I put in thousands and thousands of hours as the Statewide Campaign Manager to pass the ballot question to stop automatic gas tax hikes. I am the person who organized all the volunteers and worked directly with them through two signatures drives and an aggressive campaign field operation over 18 months. I find it offensive that Mr. McGrath and his team have tried to imply he was part of that effort. He had no part in it. He showed up at one event when Charlie Baker was speaking.

Editorial: Supporting Ed McGrath and Janet Leombruno for Republican State Committee

Dear Editor,

As the former Republican Nominee for United States Senate in 2014 I am keenly aware of the role the State Committee plays in the political process in Massachusetts. It is with this unique background and thorough understanding of the State Committee organization that I offer my input on who is best suited to serve our party going forward as State Committeeman and State Committeewoman.

Editorial: Supporting Janet Leombruno for Republican State Committee

By contributor,

On March 1, I am enthusiastically casting my vote to reelect Janet Leombruno as Republican State Committee woman for this district.

Janet Leombruno is the real deal.

During my 2010 candidacy for state auditor, I had the privilege of seeing Janet in action up close. She accompanied me across the state, from town to town, morning and night, as a loyal ally in our quest to make Massachusetts an even better state. She did the ground work, got to know the people, gave sound advice and cared deeply about the future of the Massachusetts GOP.

Lamb Pledges People First

Lamb Will Refuse State Job

Holliston, MA …Today Marty Lamb, candidate for Republican State Committee, announced that he will put the people first and will not be compromised by seeking a job or an appointment with the administration.

“Serving on the Republican State Committee should be about building the GOP, not a resume,” said Lamb. “I am not seeking this office as a career stepping stone. I want to recruit more candidates, register more Republicans, and rebuild the grassroots.”

Editorial: Lamb Will Support People, Not Backroom Deals

By contributor,

Today Marty Lamb, candidate for Republican State Committee, announced that he supports electing delegates to the national convention via caucuses. His opponent voted to take away that right and have delegates appointed.

"I would never take away the people's right to vote. I believe that it is important to elect delegates to the national convention via caucuses. We need to keep the process open," said Lamb.

Editorial: Supporting Marty Lamb for Republican State Committee

By contributor,

I would like to thank Marty Lamb for his leadership in repealing the automatic gas tax hikes. He led the statewide effort to have the legislators be responsible. Legislators now have to vote every year to account for their actions because of the efforts of Marty Lamb. No one in the race for the State Committee on March 1st has credentials anywhere close to Marty. As a retired Army Officer I can attest to his character and selflessness. We need someone with his determination and dedication to bring some balance into the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Editorial: Supporting Ed McGrath and Janet Leombruno for Republican State Committee

I recently read a letter to the editor which asked "What should I think about Ed McGrath?" One should start with the simple fact that Governor Baker wholeheartedly endorsed Mr. McGrath and supports him 100%. Ed McGrath has recruited and worked with dozens of candidates for legislative and state-wide office including: Mary Z. Connaughton, Jon Fetherson, and Doug Grindle. Ed served as pro bono counsel for the Massachusetts GOP, oversaw re-count elections, and ran the regional volunteer call center for candidates up and down the ballot.
