Reflections recognizes and awards preK – grade 12 students’ artistry & creativity at the local, state and national level. Encourage your children to show us their talent in any of the following categories:

  • Dance Choreography (includes gymnastics, ice skating, any form of dance expression)
  • Film/Video Production
  • Literature
  • Musical Composition
  • Photography
  • Visual Arts (includes drawing, painting, print making & collage)

K-9 Unit Searches High School - No Contraband or Illegal Substances Found

This morning, contraband seeking dogs did a sweep of areas of the Hopkinton High School building looking for illegal substances. One K-9 unit from Middlesex county was involved. The search included approximately 10 classrooms and students were not present in the classrooms during the search. Class remained in session and teaching activities continued during the approximately 45 minutes while the search was taking place. The dogs did not interact with any students during the search.

Superintendent Search Successful Candidate Profile

During the months of October and November, 2012, with the assistance of the New England School Development Council (NESDEC), the Hopkinton School Committee conducted a Community Needs Assessment. Through focus groups, interviews and an online questionnaire, participants provided their views regarding the qualities and characteristics desired in a new Superintendent of Schools, and the immediate tasks and challenges he/she should focus upon in the first six to twelve months in the position.

Parking for Thanksgiving Football Game

The Thanksgiving Day Game against Ashland takes place in Ashland at the new high school located at 65 East Union Street. Hopkinton spectators and those planning to leave the game early are encouraged to park at the Ashland Middle School at 87 West Union Street and take the shuttle service,which is scheduled to leave every 20 minutes starting at 8:40AM, to the new high school.

The game kicks off at 10AM and a brief half-time ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new field is also planned.

Hilller Sports: Powder Puff, Football and XC

Move over boys! November 16th was the girls' turn to be under the Friday Night lights for the annual Powder Puff game. The tradition, which started in Hopkinton in 2007, pits the Juniors against the Seniors for a flag football showdown.

"Know Your Vote" on the Elmwood Roof - Tonight at 7PM

Educate Hopkinton will be hosting a “Know Your Vote” Question and Answer Forum about the Elmwood School Roof Project on Monday, November 19 at 7:00 pm at HCAM-TV Studios, 77 Main St (Lower Level), Hopkinton.
