Eva Bennet, a 9th grader at Hopkinton High School, was awarded a Fourth Award in Translational Medical Science category, for her project, “Development of an innovative, alternative model for teratogenicity testing”.
She earned the opportunity to compete at the Regeneron ISEF after winning first place at the regional level and second place at the state level.

Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA) announces the receipt of an additional $10,000 to its existing scholarship funds for students attending its 2021 Summer programs. The HCA regularly awards need-based scholarships through its Sandra Delbridge Scholarship Fund, but the additional funds will provide an additional 15 to 20 students the opportunity to enjoy creative theater, fine art, film, music, and dance programs. This year's summer session runs from June 28 through August 27 and is open to students ages 4 to 17.
The Lauren Anderson field project is completed and they recently hosted a dedication ceremony. Speakers included School Superintendent, Dr. Carol Cavanaugh, Friend & Classmate, Curran Leahy-Lonigro, Lauren's Mother, Riki Anderson Rubin and Field Project Team Leader, Kathy Kilduff.
After the ceremony, a softball game was held to honor Lauren's memory between Hopkinton Alumni and the HHS Girls Varsity Softball Team. View scenes below.
This past Tuesday night, HCAM hosted a debate for the lone contested race in this years Town Election, School Committee. In the race, three candidates are fighting for two open seats. Candidates include Jared Pray and current School Committee members, Amanda Fargiano and Meg Tyler.

The Hopkinton Hillers Middle School Football team recognized teammate Andrew Cooper who was injured during the season by signing a football and giving him a shoutout. Check out the video below!

On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, the Hopkinton Public Schools statement of interest for the Elmwood school was voted into a Period of Eligibility with the Massachusetts State Building Authority or MSBA. Over the next 270 days, the school district will need to prepare a variety of documents to prove that they are eligible to enter into the next phase, which is known as the Feasibility Study.
