The Marathon Fund Committee will be awarding six - $1,500 scholarships, to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Hopkinton.
Applications are now available at the Select Board/Town Manager’s office in the Town Hall, the guidance department at Hopkinton High School, on the Town website at www.hopkintonma.gov, or by calling the Select Board/Town Manager’s office at 508-497-9701.
The Hopkinton High School Class of 2023 hosted the annual Seniors talent show. The many-talented students showed off their abilities in singing, dance, hula hoop, instrument skills and much more.

A 2023 Lunar New Year celebration took place at Hopkinton High School sponsored by several local organizations. The event featured song, dance and a terrific and entertaining display of Chinese culture and arts.

The Select Board recognized three new Eagle Scouts. Eagle Scout is the highest honor a Scout can receive.

Police Chief Joseph Bennett, Hopkinton Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Carol Cavanaugh and High School Principal Evan Bishop wish to remind Hopkinton residents about the state's social host law.
Social Host Liability is the legal term for the responsibility of a person who furnishes liquor to a guest. A Social Host is anyone who is in control of the premises and who furnishes alcohol or allows it to be consumed on those premises.
Several local Hopkinton High School students participated in the Hopkinton Lions Club Youth Speech Contest. The event took place on December 6th at HCAM – Hopkinton Community Access & Media. The event was recorded at the local TV studio and will be broadcast at a later date. The topic for this year’s competition was “Environmental Crisis: Fact or Fiction”. Students were judged on content, delivery and timing of each speech. A total of six High School students participated in the competition.

Hopkinton students in Grade 6 Band and Orchestra performed last night for family and friends at the newly refurbished Middle School auditorium. Students in Grades 6 through 12 have been diligently practicing their music and are eager to show us their talents this month!
