Marathon Fund Committee Scholarships

The Marathon Fund Committee will be awarding six $1,000 scholarships, 3-female, 3-male, to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Hopkinton. Applications are now available at the selectmen's office in the town hall or in the guidance department at Hopkinton High School. Applicants must be attending a two or four year college or university and have earned at least one high school varsity letter. Applicants must also have demonstrated a willingness to give his/her best effort in academics and extra-curricular activities.

Hillers Win the Bushnoe Cup!

After beating Oakmont 3-1 on Monday night, the Hillers came back with another great effort to beat Fitchburg 4-1 and win the Mark Bushnoe Christmas Tournament at he Wallace Civic Center. Bill Allen was named and Allstar and Cam Finalayson the tournament MVP.

Run the Marathon for the Friends of Hopkinton Senior Citizens

Do you want a chance to be an official runner in the Boston Marathon? The Friends of Hopkinton Senior Citizens, Inc. has bibs available. This is an excellent opportunity for the Friends to raise needed funds for the Center and for runners to have a chance to participate. Hillers win

The Hillers took on DS and came up with their second straight win to start of the season. JH Vokey scored 2 goals and Matt Lindquist, Owen Delaney, and Will Abbott also had goals. Can Finlayson had 2 assists and Owen Delaney, and Matt Lindquist also had helpers. Dylan O'leary was outstanding between the pipes, coming up with several highlight reel saves to help perserve the win.

Hopkinton takes on Medfield next this Ssturday in Franland.

Hiller Hockey

The Hiller hockey season kicks off this Friday night as the JV's start the defense of their back to back titles VS. Hudson at 8:50 PM at North Star. The Varsity begins their season Saturday Night at 6:50 pm in Loring arena with a "Border Battle" VS. Cross town rival Ashland .
