My name is Jessica McCaffrey and I am running for a seat on the Hopkinton Public Library Board of Trustees. My husband Kevin and I live on Lumber Street. We moved to Hopkinton after being drawn to its charming, small town feeling and its renowned school system.

As a lifelong patron and supporter of library associations, I believe that libraries offer infinite resources and help its community thrive, serving as both an educational and social center. Public libraries have always provided me with a place to study quietly, read and gain knowledge, and meet others or learn about community events and services. Even recently, our library allowed me to make new friends through a book club, which has been genuinely fun and positive.

Our library offers a wonderful array of services to the members of our community and I am excited about the opportunity to build on and continue to support the progressive and innovative actions and programs of the Hopkinton Public Library Board of Trustees.

Professionally, I am an attorney. I grew up locally and graduated from Marian High School in Framingham, graduated from Villanova University and finally, graduated from Suffolk University Law School. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and Spenser, our rescue puppy through Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, visiting my family, reading a new mystery or thriller, spending the day at the lake, and trying new restaurant options.

I am proud to call Hopkinton my home and I am excited about this opportunity to serve our community. I would greatly appreciate your vote in our Annual Election for the position of library trustee.
