Hopkinton Public Library Update: "The Library is Moving!"

The library hive is buzzing as we plan our move back to Main Street! We appreciate everyone’s patience while we are in transition.

Please plan to pick up any materials you wish to check out by 8 p.m. on September 1, 2017. Depending on the progress of construction, the library may remain open past September 1st. Please check our website, Facebook page, or Twitter feed for updates. Please do not return library materials to 65 South Street after September 1st! While the library is closed, anything you have checked out should be returned to other C/W MARS libraries in neighboring towns such as Westborough, Southborough, Upton, Milford and Marlborough. Please note that Ashland and Holliston are not in the C/W MARS network.

We expect to reopen in October. Due dates will be extended past our October opening date. Online resources, including downloadable books and magazines, Mango Languages, and research resources, will continue to be available when the library is temporarily closed. You can also use your library card at other local C/W MARS libraries.

Please call 508-497-9777 or e-mail hopkintonlibrary@hopkintonma.gov if you have any questions.

This is a very exciting time for the entire community and library staff. We look forward to welcoming you in the new library. The new library director, Heather Backman, is very familiar with moving the Hopkinton Public Library and can be reached at 508-497-3400 or by e-mail at hbackman@hopkintonma.gov.
