The 8th Annual Sharon Timlin 5K Road Race will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011. Online registration is open now! The 2011 race is limited to 1,800 participants and spaces are filling up quickly. Register by midnight on June 14, 2011.
5K Race and Walk: USATF-certified 5K race begins at 8:30 am and is strictly limited to 1,800 participants. The $25 entry fee guarantees a TECHNICAL t-shirt if registered by May 20. Registrations received after May 20 include t-shirts only if available. There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
Kids' 1 Mile Race: Timed 1-mile race for children ages 8 to 10 begins at 9:45 on the Hopkins School Loop Road. $15 entry fee includes TECHNICAL t-shirt. We encourage early registration as this race is limited to 200 participants.
Improved Mini-Marathon: Mini-Marathon participants receive specialized t-shirt with $10 entry fee. Distances include 200 meters for 2- to 5-year-old's, 400 meters for 6-year-old's, 800 meters for 7-year-old's. Start time is 9:45 on the High School track.
Great Post-Race Party: Fun for the whole family, including live band, family fun day, food, silent auction, raffles, and much more!
New this year:Going Green Effort!! Help support the environment by using our bike valet, carpooling, recycling or bringing a pair of old shoes for our shoe recycling program.
All money raised is directed toward ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research.
