Video: Cycle City Grand Opening

Cycle City hosted their grand opening ceremony Monday (August 8th) the business officially opens Thursday August 11th and will bring spin and stationary cycling classes to Hopkinton. "The idea is you would come in and check in for about 45 minutes, you would leave your cell phones out, leave your thinking out.. you'll be burning anywhere from 500-1000 calories in 45 minutes, but the emphasis is not necessarily on the calories, the emphasis is on the safety and making sure you have a good time." Cycle City Wife and Husband Owners, Jas and Nav both have previous business experience. Jas has a dentist practice in Franklin and Nav owns several business's throughout the area. At the opening ceremony, Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce Board Member, Tim Kilduff presented Jas and Nav with a certificate stating that the business will fit in nicely with the community; "we have a real interest in a healthy lifestyle in this community, so what you're doing is not only investing in this community but you're helping to build a brand." Selectmen Chair, Brian Herr and State Representatives Carolyn Dykema and Jeffrey Roy were also in attendance to welcome Cycle City to town. View more below.
