Video: Hopkinton Hillers Sports Update 10-2-2018

On Friday (9/28) Hillers football fell to Ashland in a defensive battle 8-7. The Clockers found the end-zone late in 4th quarter and pulled off an epic extra point fake to convert for a 2 point conversion. Ashland improved to 4 and 0 while the Hillers fell to 2 and 2 on the season.

Also on Friday (9/28) Hillers Girls Volleyball earned their 7th sweep of the season versus Holliston. The Hopkinton Hillers take control of the top of the TVL with an overall record of 8 and 1 and league record of 8 and 0.

Contributed Updates:

-The HMS boys’ soccer team improved its record to 3-0-1 scoring 8 goals in the first half in route to a 9-0 victory. Goal scorers included Peter DeMichele, Dylan Michaud (2), Matt Zettek, Aryan Samaga (2), Eric Touzjian, and Sam Vasington. The boys next play Thursday in Milford.

-The HMS Girls soccer team won their game against Ashland yesterday 8-0. Emme Joy was a standout both in the midfield and by scoring a goal, as well as Anna Dionne who consistently crashed the net and assisted two goals. Outstanding player of the game was Ellie Driscoll with her never give up drive as well as a goal scored. The girls play next on Thursday in Milford.

-8th grade field hockey played well in the rain yesterday but Medfield came out ahead 1-0 with a beautiful goal. Great game, Hillers!
