Video: Weston Nurseries talk about upcoming Blooms, Brews & BBQ event to raise money for Jimmy Fund Walk

Weston Nurseries will be hosting an event to raise money for the annual Jimmy Fund Walk. The event will take place on Saturday September 9th at 11am until 7pm. Owner of Weston Nurseries, Peter Mezitt mentioned that he has been participating in the walk from Hopkinton to Boston for 10 years and his wife has participated for 15. Weston Nurseries has raised $65,000 for the Jimmy Fund and this year they seek to raise an additional $25,000 to make it a grand total of $90,000. The event on September 9th will take place following the annual Live for Evan 5K at Weston Nurseries of Hopkinton.

"Join us for a day of live music, zesty BBQ, and local craft breweries on our lush event lawn as we raise money to benefit the Jimmy Fund Walk.

Admission: $10.00 per person at the Gate
Beer Tickets: $5.00 each (for full pours from the taps)
Food from our BBQ vendors: priced a la carte
Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase
We welcome well-behaved pets and children
Proceeds from this event will be donated to The Jimmy Fund Walk. We've been a proud sponsor of the Jimmy Fund for many years and the Weston Nurseries Walk Team will once again be walking the Boston Marathon route to raise money on September 24th.
