Heart, Courage, and Sweat: The Kids’ Marathon Show: April 16 – May 3 at HCA

You’re eight years old. How do you imagine the experience of running a marathon?

Welcome to Heart, Courage, and Sweat the Hopkinton Center for the Arts’s annual exploration of how elementary school artists imagine and depict the marathon experience.

In the drawing of Clara Vanguri, age 7, the race route whips and swerves through hills, churches, traffic cones, and road signs from start to finish in just 14 horizontal inches, under a bright sun and a hovering helicopter.

Elmwood Students explored Science and Technology at the Annual Steam Night event. Volunteer Teachers and Hopkinton High School students helped run the event and showed off fun activities involving science and technology. View some scenes from the highly attended Steam night below.

On Marathon Monday, Weston Nurseries will be hosting an event called "Hopkinton Marathon Spectacular" to benefit the 26.2 Foundation. The event will take place 7am - 4pm and feature food vendors, entertainment for all ages and musical acts. Enter Stage Left Theater Presents: "The Prince is Having a Ball"

Princes, princesses, crowns, a glass slipper, a royal pumpkin carriage, dancing, music, a red carpet, and a castle.

It's everything any fairy tale-loving kid (and their parents) could ask for, and it's all coming here, to the Delbridge Family Performance Center, on Sunday, April 29th, 11:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M.

Children are invited to dress up in their best royal outfit and dancing shoes, bring their favorite adult guest(s), and enter the enchanted world of Cinderella.

Hopkinton Music Department Results in MICCA Concert & Chroal Festival

The Hopkinton Public Schools Music Department is proud to announce their results from the 2018 Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Concert and Choral Festival, March 23-25. The Hopkinton music students performed well earning Gold (outstanding performance) and Silver (excellent performance) ratings. Congratulations to all the students and their teachers on their achievements.
