The statewide Amalgamated Transit Union Massachusetts Legislative Council has endorsed Karen Spilka for Congress. Comprised of 11 ATU Locals from across Massachusetts and representing over 8,000 members, Karen has earned their support because of her strong track record of supporting public transportation and her commitment to fighting for smart investments in our infrastructure in Congress.

Spilka Endorsed by Three Additional Local Laborers' Unions

Three more Laborers’ International locals have enthusiastically endorsed Karen Spilka for Congress. Karen has earned their support because she is a proven fighter for the middle class. The endorsing locals are 380 from Cambridge, 1156 from Framingham and 1116 from Natick and they represent thousands of working families across Massachusetts.

Project Just Because Christmas in July Fundraiser on July 25

Project Just Because will hold its 2nd Annual Christmas in July fundraiser and silent auction on Thursday, July 25 from 7 to 9 p.m. at their company headquarters located at 86 South Street, Hokinton, MA.

With 90 percent of their donations coming in November and December, the event is an effort to increase donations over the summer and throughout other months to provide funding that is needed now.

UFCW Local 1445 Endorses Spilka for Congress

Representing over 15,000 food and commercial workers and their families, UFCW Local 1445 endorsed Karen Spilka for Congress because of her strong record of fighting for the middle class.

“Karen has never backed down from the tough challenges and we know we can count on her to always be on our side,” said Jim Carvalho, Political Director of Local 1445. “She leads with incredible determination, always finding ways to help bring jobs to our region and grow our economy. She is exactly what we need in Congress, a fighter who stands up for working families.”
