Host Families for International Students Needed

By contributor,

Administrators at Hopkinton High School are asking for help to find host families for international students. Although there has been a strong response for host families for next year's class of international students coming to HHS, there are still have a few more students, mostly boys, to place. Each has a friendly smile and interests to share. If you weren't sure before, please now consider hosting a student from Italy, China or Germany. According to feedback from current host families, their lives are being enriched by these students in varied and sometimes surprising ways.

Candidate Statement: Jon Graziano

By contributor,

My name is Jon Graziano, and I am running for School Committee. My wife, Erin, and I moved to Hopkinton two years ago. As the parents of three young children (ages 6, 4 and 1), one of the primary reasons we were attracted to the town was the school system, and our experience so far has validated that decision. Over the past year I have been the Appropriations Committee liaison to the School Committee.

Candidate Statement: Frank Sivo for School Committee

By contributor,

I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the Hopkinton School Committee. My wife Eve and I have made Hopkinton our home for 17 years.

We have four children in the Hopkinton public schools: three at Hopkins and one in the Middle School. I have been active in our community, coaching Little League, serving on the Special Education Advisory Council (SPEAC), and most recently serving on the Elementary Building Criteria Working Group.
