The beFREE! Project and HHS Respect Committee are co-sponsoring an alternative social event for high school teens featuring musical performances by HHS Students and refreshments. All high school students are welcome to attend! (Only parent chaperons are allowed at event.)

HHS Track Update from Coach Donahue

While the Hopkinton girls made it 100 meets undefeated with their victory over Ashland today, the boys cruised in the season opener. Ryan Webster won the javelin and high hurdles, qualifying for the state meet in both events, he also took 2nd in the 200m. Jeff Corkum took home first in the high jump and triple jump while placing second in the 400m hurdles. Ashland's Navarro was a double winner as well taking the 100m and 200m also placing 2nd in the ling jump.

On Wednesday, April 4, 2012 beginning at 6:30, Dr. Elizabeth Englander will be presenting a talk, “What All Parents Need to Know” in the Hopkinton Middle School Auditorium. HPTA 29th Annual Auction Continues

The HPTA’s 29th Annual Auction was a success, but the online auction isn’t over yet!

The HPTA’s 29th Annual Auction brought in more than $31,000 so far, and the Children’s Gallery/Family Fun Day made over $6,000!

The HPTA’s 2012 Encore Auction will be open for bids starting April 2nd but will only be open until April 9. We will have a few items from the past auction, with discounted prices, and a few dozen new items to choose from.

Support Principal Alan Keller

This year, The Hopkinton Education Foundation and the Hopkinton Public Schools are coming together with the support of the 26.2 Foundation to sponsor Hopkinton Middle School principal, Alan Keller, to run the 116th Boston Marathon on April 16, 2012. The Education Foundation will use the funds raised from this program for grants that promote innovation, increase students' success in the classroom and motivate students to become lifelong learners.

Elmwood Principal Finalists Selected - Public Forum Tonight

In an email to parents , Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Landman announced that the Elmwood Principal Search Screening Committee has selected three candidates as Finalists to replace retiring Elmwood Principal Ilene Silver.

"I thank them for the time and care they invested in this process," said Landman. "We had a pool of nearly fifty candidates, of whom nine were invited in for interviews. The Screening Committee moved four of these individuals forward for Central Office interviews. Following the Central Office interviews, we are now inviting three to come back as Finalists."
