Watch Now: Hopkinton High School Student Engineers design apparatus for Police and Fire Department Use

Hopkinton High School student engineers were assigned the task of designing and creating a piece of equipment or apparatus that would benefit the Police or Fire department in Doug Scott's HHS class.

The students first had the opportunity to meet with Hopkinton first responders to find out what some of their needs or challenges were and then create and design a piece of equipment to help them in their challenging job of keeping the community safe.

HMS Drama Club Presents "Beauty and the Beast"

Hopkinton Middle School Drama Club proudly presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR on December 9th & 10th at 7pm in the HMS Auditorium. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. Come join us for the show before the last petal falls.

Watch Now: Hopkinton Middle School and 26.2 Foundation Host 2022 Hiller Block 5K

This past Wednesday was a bit of a wet and cold day but that did not stop Hopkinton Middle School students for taking part in the annual Hiller Block 5K road race.

The event hosted with the 26.2 foundation allows students to put their 5k training in their physical education class to the test and the goal is to encourage good health, training, passion, courage, sportsmanship and other important virtues.

Hopkinton Hillers Cross Country to Compete in 2022-23 D1 State Championship Meet

The Hopkinton Hillers Boys and Girls Cross Country teams have both qualified for the Division 1 State Championship meet and each team will send ten runners to compete in the event.

The State Championship will take place at Fort Devens, MA on Saturday, November 19th. The Girls Division 1 competition will take place at 2pm, the Boys Division 1 competition will take place at 2:45pm with the award ceremony at 3:45pm.

MassBay Alum Empowers Students in the Classroom and on the Field, Mike Webb of Hopkinton

MassBay alum Mike Webb began his higher education journey at Framingham State University (FSU), where he played football and studied to become a history teacher. “Playing football was the main reason I stayed in college. I saw my peers’ passion for history but didn’t have the same level of commitment to the subject, which caused me to doubt my career path,” said Mike. “When the football season ended in my senior year, I realized I didn’t have enough credits to graduate, tossing my future into flux. I decided to pivot and try something new.”
