HCA Mask and Vaccination Policy Update

Friends,

After careful consideration, and following the guidelines of the CDC, the HCA will require covid-vaccine eligible attendees of any indoor performing event to show proof of vaccination, in addition to wearing a mask.

Proof of covid vaccination includes any of the following: your original vaccination card, a photocopy of your card, or a clear picture of your card on your cell phone. (Children and other qualified individuals who are not eligible for the vaccine may attend indoor performances wearing a mask). Our outdoor events will continue to be mask-optional, with no requirement to show vaccination status.

HCA is one of many performing arts venues in MetroWest and the greater Worcester and Boston area who have come to this decision in the best interest of public health. We will continually monitor best practices and make adjustments to this policy when we feel confident it is safe to do so.

We are all disheartened to take a step backward in this fight against the spread of Covid 19, however we are committed to the fight. To date the HCA has been successful in minimizing exposure to less than 1% of our population and we intend to continue to be vigilant.

We have so enjoyed celebrating the arts with you safely this year. It has made us forever grateful for the little pleasures in life including sitting and enjoying art together. We vow to never take that for granted in the future.

Take care of yourselves and each other.
