Rich Cormier served as the Hopkinton High School Athletic Director since 2019 and led through 4 years (12 seasons) of Hiller Sports. Rich did an excellent job dealing with an obscene amount of obstacles that came up throughout his tenure including: EEE Mosquito virus, large amounts of cancellations and changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic and many bus-driver and officials shortages. Rich made sure all the Hiller teams got their games in and did a tremendous job giving the student-athletes an opportunity to compete.
At the end of this past successful Hillers Spring Sports 21-22 Season, Rich announced he will be leaving Hopkinton High School to pursue other career opportunities.
All of us at HCAM enjoyed working with Rich very much and we thank him for the many things he did that made our coverage of Hiller Sports much easier and possible. We were very happy to talk with him one last time before his July departure, view the interview below as we discuss the Spring season and about his future plans.
