Enough Jr. a Story of Discovering One's Self Worth

ParadiseMoves brings contemporary fusion dance and original music to the stage in it's junior production of Enough at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. Enough Jr. explores topics surrounding mental health, sexuality, identity, personal growth, therapy and the power of the love and support of friends and family.

The first act's powerful performance is followed by a facilitated discussion that connects audience members with each other (Act II).

Ashland Legion Baseball Returns to HCAM and WACA-TV for 5th Season!

For the 5th season HCAM TV in Hopkinton and WACA TV in Ashland will air taped broadcasts of Ashland Legion Baseball Post 77 home games and a few road games! All home games will be played at Ashland Middle School. HCAM's Tom Nappi will provide play by play of the games, Larry Saklad will provide analysis during the broadcasts while WACA TV will work the camera.

HCAM-ED airs on Comcast channel 96 and on Verizon channel 31. HCAM-TV is Hopkinton's Public and Governmental channel airing on Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 30.

Enter Stage Left Theater Presents Summer Musical Workshop

This entirely original, two-week musical theater workshop includes songs and scenes from Disney, Broadway and popular movie musicals, including Frozen, Aladdin, Annie, Wizard of Oz, Shrek, and more!

Over the course of the workshop, actors will learn and develop skills that will be put to use during two full performances on the final day.

In addition to plenty of instruction on the songs and scenes that will be presented during the final show, tuition includes a t-shirt and DVD of the performance.

Free Pasta Dinner at St. Paul’s June 27

The May Community Pasta Supper at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 61 Wood Street (Rte. 135) will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27. All are welcome to this event, which is being supported by the churches of the Hopkinton Christian Service Connection. This pasta supper is held for the community on the last Wednesday of every month.
The meal will feature pasta (gluten free available), vegetarian tomato sauce, meatballs on the side, green salad, bread, beverages, and dessert.
The pasta supper is free, although donations will be accepted.

Every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 1-3pm, the Hopkinton Senior Center in partnership with the Hopkinton Public Library will be hosting "Our Time Memory Cafe" at the Hopkinton Public Library. Upcoming events include June 12th, July 10th, August 14th and September 11th. "Our Time Memory Cafe is a welcoming gathering for those experiencing forgetfulness, mild cognitive impairment, or living with dementia and their care partner, family, and friends. The monthly events are free, offering conversation and refreshments in a relaxing atmosphere.

The Hopkinton Public Library Foundation hosted their 7th annual Touch-A-Truck and Food Truck Festival at Hopkinton High School and the event was once again a huge success. Many residents of Hopkinton and surrounding towns attended the festival and had the opportunity to check out construction, emergency response and many other various types of vehicles.
