HHS Girls Hoops Wins Community Service Challenge

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) is excited to announced the Hopkinton High School girls’ basketball team as the winner of the 2020-21 MIAA Community Service Challenge! Members of the MIAA Student Advisory Committee reviewed the 68 incredible submissions before selecting the winner.

The Hopkinton High School girls’ basketball team executed a plan to serve dinner at a homeless shelter, Hotel Grace, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Eleven student-athletes met up to prepare the meal, drove the food to Worcester and helped serve it to those in need.

In the latest Hopkinton Hillers Sports Update, Hillers Softball and Baseball battles Norwood and Holliston. The Hillers softball team captures the TVL Large title, Girls Lacrosse and Boys Lacrosse were also in action. Also, Hillers Baseball celebrates Senior Night and we caught up with Hillers Softball Head Coach, Shannon Allberry and some of the players on the TVL Large Champion, playoff bound Hillers.

Ashland Legion Baseball Returns to HCAM, WACA and HCAT Television for 8th Season!

For the 8th season, HCAM in Hopkinton and WACA TV in Ashland will air broadcasts of Ashland Legion Baseball Post 77 home games and a few road games! HCAT TV in Holliston will also air the games this season. All home games will be played at Ashland Middle School.

Hopkinton Hillers Baseball defeats Norwood in battle of 10 and 3 teams

Hopkinton and Norwood went into Wednesday Nights game with both records at 10 wins and 3 losses on the season. The Hillers came out with a 10 to 1 win and improved to 11 and 3 while Norwood fell to 10 and 4. Dylan Locke broke the game open with an inside the park Grand Slam!

The Hillers struck 1st in the bottom of the 3rd, Connor Kelly hit a RBI single to drive in Ronnie Shamus. Hillers led 1-0 heading into the bottom of the 4th.

Colin Norred came up with 5 huge saves in the 4th quarter as the Hillers improve to 6 and 5, Westwood falls to 5 and 6. Junior, Owen MacDonald contributed 5 goals and Sophomore, Josh Furman netted 3 goals for the Hillers.
