Hopkinton's Teddy Doherty in running for one of the Most Coveted College Hockey Award

Junior Hockey Player at Boston College Teddy Doherty was named a nominee for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. The award is one of college hockey's most prestigious awards.

Teddy Doherty so far this season has played 19 games for the Boston College Eagles, scoring 5 goals, racking up 10 assists for 15 points total.
Doherty was also a key force last season in the Boston College NCAA Frozen Four Semi-Final run.

Girls and Boys Indoor Track and Field Both Improve to 4-0 with Wins vs Westwood

The Hopkinton Hillers Girls Indoor Track and Field Team improved to 4 and 0 defeating Westwood by a total score of 59-27.

Hopkinton First Place Finishes Include:
Hurdle - Nicole Belisle
600 M - Emily Hoffman
300 M - Emily Mastrianni
High Jump - Zoe Komodromos
1000 M - Isabelle Giordano
Relay was won by Hopkinton

The Hopkinton Hillers Boys Indoor Track and Field Team also improved to 4 and 0 defeating Westwood 75-10. Hopkinton athletes finished 1st in every event.

Metrowest Daily News Girls Volleyball "Super Team" is loaded with Hillers

The Metrowest Daily News have posted their "Super Team"! The Metrowest Daily News article lists the best of the best in Girls Volleyball from around the area. The Division 2 State Champion Hopkinton Hillers are well represented on the Metrowest Daily News Super Team. The Hillers named to the super team consist of: Holly Adams, Renee Cooprider and Hanna Engstrom. Kaitlin West was also featured in the article as she was named to the Metrowest Daily News First Team, Whitney Thalheimer was named to the Metrowest Daily News Second team.

America’s First Day Hikes 2015

On January 1st, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will host America’s First Day Hikes 2015 at 12 park locations across the Commonwealth. With over 450,000 acres, spanning Boston to the Berkshires, Massachusetts state parks boast a variety of beautiful settings for year-round outdoor recreation, and each hike will offer a unique natural and cultural environment. The First Day Hikes tradition began more 20 years ago in Massachusetts, and has now become a national event. 2015 will mark the 4th consecutive year that all 50 states have held First Day Hikes.

Run the 2015 Boston Marathon for the Library!

The Hopkinton Public Library Foundation (HPLF) is seeking TWO individuals to run the 2015 Boston Marathon to raise money for the Library restoration, renovation and expansion. 2015 is the groundbreaking year for the new library, as well as the Library’s 120th year serving the Hopkinton community! Last year, HPLF runners raised over $20,000 for the new Library. Join us as a member of the HPLF Boston Marathon Team, and help us to raise funds for the much-needed renovation and expansion of Hopkinton Public Library.
