2023-2024 Fall Season, Week 6: Hopkinton Hillers Recap: Oct 9th through Oct 15th

Boys Soccer hosted Norton, Girls Soccer hosted Dedham, The full Hillers Field Hockey Senior day ceremony plus highlights from their battle with Holliston, Girls Volleyball hosted Ashland and Hiller Football also hosted Westwood, those highlights will be available soon!

-Westwood Football Outduels Hopkinton in 49-42 Shootout Win (Fri, 10/13)

-Westwood defeats Hopkinton in Shootout 49 to 42

Westwood improves to 4 and 2 with the Win, Hopkinton falls to 4 and 2. Westwood produced 369 yards of Offense while Hopkinton tallied 405 yards. The Hillers outscored Westwood 28 to 21 in the 2nd half and got within 6 points after falling behind 34 to 14 but fell short as the Westwood potent offense in the 1st half proved to be too much to handle.

The Annual TOM McINTYRE TURKEY BOWL is expanding to add new teams!

This year’s 6 vs 6 ONE - HANDED TOUCH FOOTBALL tournament will be played Friday, November 24th from 9am-1pm.

Participating teams in the Turkey Bowl
Must consist of a maximum of 12 players.
All players must be a GRADUATE of HOPKINTON HIGH SCHOOL or currently reside in HOPKINTON.
Entrance Fee is $250/team. ALL PROCEEDS benefit THE HOPKINTON ATHLETIC BOOSTERS.

Each team plays 5 games which is followed by playoff rounds.

The HMS boys’ soccer team found themselves down 1-0 at halftime. They bounced back and played an excellent second half earning a 3-1 victory. Joe Vanik scored two goals and Jake Schwartz tallied the team 3rd goal. Playing well for the Hillers included Aryan Jha, Lucca Spinelli and Alkhil Raja Amudhan. The boys now sit at 8-1 with four games remaining on the schedule.

The Hopkinton Hillers and Medfield Warriors squared off under the lights of David M. Hughes Stadium on Thursday, October 5th and it was an epic TVL Large battle featuring numerous turnovers, some long touchdowns and numerous momentum shifts.
