Our first Wake up and Smell the Poetry program of the season takes place on Saturday morning, September 17th. We are delighted to start the season with: poet, Mark Pawlak of Boston, poet, Andrew Green of Natick and folk singer-songwriter, Randall Kromm of Boston.

Open mic will take place following the feature, welcoming contributions of poetry, story and song. We film the program before a live audience and later edit footage into weekly half-hour tv shows for local cable television . Guest features are included on the weekly shows as well as contributions from the open mic community. This footage is also often used by contributing artists for internet/website communication.

Whether coming to participate or simply being there to listen, the public from near and far is welcome. The WUASTP tv shows can be found on the hcam.tv website and are accessible for viewing on all cable tv stations via Pegmedia.

HCAM Studios is located at 77 Main Street in Hopkinton MA.
Doors open at 10:00AM, program begins at 10:30AM.
Admission is free, we pass the hat for features.
Free scones and hot coffee.
The coffee is caffeinated but it is really the words shared on stage that will be found to be awakening.

Please go to www.hcam.tv/series/wakeup/index.shtml for more information and to reserve a seat/sign up for open mic or simply send me an email at cbperreault@gmail.com.
