Hopkinton High School Sports are back and so is HCAM's coverage. This Fall, Hiller Volleyball and Football home games will be broadcasted and replayed the night that the game is played and on Saturday.

Tonight, at the Athletic Center, Hiller Varsity Volleyball tanks on the Franklin Panthers at 5:30pm. Then at 7:00pm, Hiller Football opens their season with a non league game against the Lions of Newton South. Come to the Games, tickets are $5,00 for adults, students and seniors are $3.00.

Boys XC wins against Ashland today at the State Park in the first meet of the season with a score of Hopkinton 16, Ashland 47 (low score wins.) To see photos from today's meet, Click Here.

Designed for boys ages 11 to 18, Boy Scouting combines outdoor activities, sports, academics, and more in a fun and exciting program that helps boys test their limits!

After a hiatus, the HCAM Insider is back!
The HCAM Insider is a weekly newsletter that keeps you informed of all our new HCAM programming. It also lists upcoming Hillers sports games and Government Meetings that air over the weekend. HCAM is producing around fourty hours a month of original programming, and the Insider is a great way to keep informed of all the latest!
If there is a change in the programming, the Insider will have that info too.

Hopkinton Varsity Volleyball defeated Ashland tonight in 3 games, 25-6, 25-15, 25-21.

Hopkinton was led by the offense of senior outside hitter Tess Chandler (8 kills, 4 digs, strong serve receive) and sophomore outside hitter Holly Adams (6 kills, 2 digs, 1 serving ace). Sophomore Hanna Engstrom and junior Maria Moreno played well at the net, combining for 7 kills. Sophomore setter Renee Cooprider had 16 assists and served for 11 points including 6 aces. Senior libero Kristen Cooprider starred defensively with 13 digs and strong serve receive passing.

Artist Carolyn Latourelle will exhibit her collection Space & Place in the HCA Gallery during the month of September. A reception with Ms. Latourelle will take place on Friday, September 7 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm. The exhibit runs September 4 - 27, 2012.

The last day to register to vote in the November 6, 2012 General Election is Tuesday, October 17, 2012. Office hours at the Town Clerk's Office will be extended that day, remaining open from 8AM to 8PM. Regular winter hours for the Town Clerk's Office are now in effect and are as follows: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 8AM to 4:30PM, and from 8AM to 7PM on Tuesdays.

The Hopkinton Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that it will be offering 24 classes during the fall term, including a new Musical Theater Dance class as well as offerings in art, music, theater, and crafts. The fall classes begin the week of September 17 and are for age groups ranging from pre-kindergarten up to adulthood. More information is available their website.

On Saturday, September 8 from (11:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.), families looking for a fun and healthy local event are in luck. Water Fresh Farm, is hosting a Family Fun Day that includes, a spectacular petting zoo, treasure hunt, colorful balloons, wonderful prizes and yummy ice cream. The event is free.
