On the Jan 20th edition of HCAM News, we have the latest in Hiller Sports, we talk with Baypath Humane Society about their fostering program and the Hangout Hour returned to HCAM with a couple of great guests but first this past Monday HCAM along with the Hopkinton Freedom Team hosted a virtual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Program.

Our 62nd edition of HCAM Sports Talk airs on Wed, Jan 19th 2022 at 2pm. In the episode, we have highlights from the Hopkinton Hillers 2021-22 Winter Sports Season and Andy Barron from MyFm 101.3 and Jared Keene from Metrowest Daily News and Mike Torosian join us to make NFL Playoff Picks and discuss other sports happenings.

This Wednesday at 7pm, tune into a brand new episode of HCAM's Hopkinton Hangout Hour! On this weeks edition, we will talk with Hopkinton Book Author, Nanette A. Kenrick about her newest publication "Scarlet Letters to My Psychiatrist".

"Secret Letters to my Psychiatrist is a collection of stories inspired by the story of Scheherazade, the female storyteller in One Thousand and One Nights. The theme of the book is overcoming obstacles, with a surprise twist at the end of each chapter.

Legendary Actress, Betty White recently passed away at the age of 99. Betty was an animal lover and rights advocate. In her honor and for the need of lovable furry friends looking for a home, Baypath Humane Society recently launched their Betty White Fostering promotion. Lauren Dimartino joined us to talk about the Baypath fostering program and some of the animals in need of a loving-home. View the interview below.

HELP MAKE A VETERANS DAY THIS VALENTINES DAY!!

Make a valentines day card or two for vets as a part of Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service!

Write a kind statement, thank them for their service, make some art, BE CREATIVE!!

When finished, drop off the valentine(s) in the bin outside of 14 Colella Farm Road. Due by January 30.

Cathleen Dinsmore and Cheryl Perreault from the Hopkinton Freedom Team joined us to discuss the Upcoming Martin Luther King Day Event on Jan 17th.

"Please join the Hopkinton Freedom Team, Youth Commission, HCAM and others for a community-wide event honoring the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Jamele Adams will be the keynote speaker. Jamele will discuss Love, Inclusion, and Trust and how these values align with the humanitarian legacy of Dr. King. Activities will be available for all ages to participate at your convenience.
