Senate Passes Bill Funding Capital Facility Repairs and Improvements in MetroWest

BOSTON – The Massachusetts Senate today voted to authorize up to $3.65 billion in bonds for repairs and improvements of capital facilities across the Commonwealth. Spending authorizations in the bill include bonds for state university and community college campus improvements, public safety and security facilities and clean energy and efficiency programs. The bill also authorizes funding for several capital projects across the MetroWest region, including the development of a new regional justice center in Framingham.

Sheriff Koutoujian, Chief Ryan participate in SAMHSA/BJA Expert Panel on Medication-Assisted Treatment Implementation

ROCKVILLE, Md. – Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian and Arlington Police Chief Fred Ryan were among the national experts to participate in a discussion on implementation of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs today.

This past Monday (1/22), the planning board meeting aired live on hcam. their were 2 public hearings. The first public hearing was regarding the Chamberlain Street/Whalen Road. REC Hopkinton LLC proposed a 32 lot single family subdivision between chamberlain street and Whalen road. Kathi Sherry of R.E.C. Hopkinton LLC described the plan for the proposed conventional subdivision.
