Lamb Will Encourage more Outreach Groups not less
Holliston, MA ...Today Marty Lamb, candidate for Republican State Committee, announced his support for reinstating the Massachusetts Federation of Republican Women charter.
Under the direction of the Finance Director the Treasurer/Collector provides professional administrative and supervisory work involving the collection, receipt, expenditure and custody of all municipal funds, the borrowing of money, and the custody of tax title properties. The principal will exercise considerable independent judgment and initiative in the planning, administration, and execution of the department’s services; the interpretation and application of laws, regulations, and procedures, and in the direction of personnel.
The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved the Hopkinton Police Department promotions of Officers Aaron O' Neil and Matthew McNeil to Sergeant. The Selectmen also unanimously approved the addition of Officer Matthew Santoro.

At the Tuesday January 19th Board of Selectmen Meeting, Chairman Ben Palleiko announced that he will not be running for re-election. Palleiko is currently serving the 3rd year of his 2nd term (6th year overall) on the Board.
The Fire Chief & Director of Emergency Management, for all intents and purposes, and in accordance with MA General Laws, is a strong Chief and will serve as a member of the Town’s Executive Leadership Team. This is a highly visible position within the Hopkinton community. Exceptional entrepreneurial, strategic and operational leadership, strong collaboration internally and externally, as well as sound financial and human capital management skills are basic expectations.
The Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project has sent out information on pesticide exclusion, saying, "The Exclusion Program was implemented by the Department of Food and Agriculture to allow land owners to exclude their property from public-wide applications of pesticides." Starting Friday January 8th, nomination papers will be available at the town clerks office. The deadline to file nomination papers is March 28th, you must have signatures from at least 50 Hopkinton voters to qualify.
