2020 Hopkinton Town Election Night Coverage on HCAM!

HCAM will be live at 8pm Monday, June 29th to bring you the results of this years Hopkinton Town Election. Town Clerk, Connor Degan will join us to reveal this years results.

This year features 2 contested races: Board of Selectmen and School Committee. The Select Board has one available seat and two candidates running for the position, John Coutinho and Amy Ritterbusch. The School Committee race between Lya Batlle-Rafferty, Joseph Markey and Dawn Ronan has 2 available seats.

Senate Passes Patients First Act

Today, the Massachusetts Senate unanimously passed the Patients First Act, the third piece of signature healthcare legislation advanced by the body to increase access to health care, protect patients, and enhance quality care. The legislation builds on vital lessons learned during the COVID-19 public health crisis, as unprecedented demands on the healthcare system have prompted innovation and the expedited adoption of policy changes.

State Senator Julian Cyr, Leaders in Five Key Communities Endorse Jesse Mermell for Congress

Jesse Mermell today expanded the coalition of local, state and national leaders supporting her run for Congress with endorsements from State Senator Julian Cyr and local leaders from Dighton, Hopkinton, Franklin, Brookline, Newton.

The endorsers emphasized that Mermell is the best candidate to go to Washington to take on Donald Trump and his Republican cronies and fight for support for our communities as they recover from the COVID-19 crisis.
