Hillers Sports Update December 12th, 2016

-Hopkinton Hillers Boys Varsity Hockey opened up the season on the road versus Dover-Sherborn last Saturday (12/10) with a 3-1 win. The Hillers next play Wednesday (12/14). It will be the Hillers home opener at Navin Arena in Marlborough versus Medfield.

-Dover-Sherborn and Hopkinton Girls Hockey Co-op team lost to Oakmont in their season opener Saturday 6-1. Maddy Pawela had the only Dover-Sherborn/Hopkinton goal.

Hopkinton Hillers Boys & Girls Indoor Track Stars off Season with Wins

On Thursday evening (12/8) Hopkinton Hillers Boys and Girls Indoor track hosted meets with Millis and Bellingham. Both the Boys and the Girls picked up 2 wins each. The Boys defeated Millis 79-7 and Bellingham 54-32. The Girls defeated Millis 72-13 and Bellingham 76-7. View the full scores in the attachments above.

Video: Class of 2017 VS Class of 2018 Powderpuff Football

Hopkinton High School hosted the 10th annual Powder Puff football match. Juniors of the Class of 2018 took on Seniors of the Class of 2017. Last year for the first time in Hopkinton Powder Puff history, the Class of 2017 defeated the Senior class and this year had a chance to win their 2nd consecutive Powder Puff game. Video Highlights: Hillers Volleyball takes on Notre Dame in D2 State Championship Game

The Hillers Volleyball team had an unforgettable run this fall. The team finished 22 and 2 overall and captured their 2nd state title in the past 3 seasons. During the playoffs, the Hillers took down Medway, last years Central Sectional winner, Westboro, Canton to capture the Central Sectional Championship and an undefeated Amherst team in the state semi-finals. The Hillers dethroned last years state champion Notre Dame Academy in the Division 2 State Title match. View highlights of the title game including player interviews and much more below.

Hillers Volleyball Wins Division 2 State Championship!

The Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball team defeated Notre Dame Academy in the 3-0 sweep to capture the 2016 Division 2 State Championship. The Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball team advanced to their 2nd state championship game in the past 3 seasons. The team took home the title in 2014 and look to do it again this year. The Hillers beat Canton in the Central sectionals followed by undefeated Amherst in the State Semi-Finals. View Highlights Below.
