Hillers Sports Update 10-24-2016

By Tom Nappi, News Director

The Medfield Warriors and Hopkinton Hillers kicked off on a very rainy Friday night at Hopkinton High School. The original 7pm kickoff was pushed up to 6pm to avoid some rain storms in the area but severe thunderstorms forced a stoppage in the 2nd quarter with 1:37 left.

Despite the heavy rain, both teams did not shy away from the pass although the rain led to drops and difficulty for both teams to gain momentum on offense. The game was suspended for one hour before it was decided to continue the game the following day (Saturday 10/22) at 4:30pm.
