Golfers Win in Holliston

The Hiller Varsity took the short bus ride down to Holliston to Pine Crest C.C. and defeated the Holliston Panthers by a score of 232 – 260. The Hillers record is now 9 – 1 and are still tied with Medfield for first place in the TVL. They have reached one of their team goals this season by qualifying for the MIAA State Tournament. The Hillers have reached the State Tournament for the 18th year in a row. Here are the scores from today’s victory. The par is 33 at Pine Crest and it became very cold during and after the round today.

Hiller Golf in 1st Place Battle

The Varsity Golf team played really solid team golf today vs. a very good Dover Sherborn team today at Hopkinton Country Club. In a battle for first place in the TVL the Hillers played great and defeated D/S by a score of 234 – 258. The Hillers record is now 8 -1 and tied for first place in the TVL with Medfield. Hillers are scheduled to play Medfield on Wednesday, but that will be postponed due to the rainy weather all day tomorrow. Everyone on the team will enjoy a day off to take care of school work and family projects.

Hillers 5-2 the Clockers

Tyler Zanini played extremely well in goal as the Middle School Boys' soccer team improved its record to 2-0-1 with a 5-2 victory in Ashland yesterday. Scoring for the Hillers was Devin Kelley (2 goals), Jack Rodgers, Tim Fargiano and Riley Hargrave. Playing particularly well was Ellis Spar, Brady Sheehan and Owen DiNicola. The boys next play in Millis on Thursday and home on Friday versus Newton.

At the Varsity Level, the Field hockey team picked up a couple of more points beating Hopedale 2-0 in non-league action. They will travel to Ashland on Friday for a 3:15 pm match.

Friday Wrap Up

Hiller Football suffered a 22-20 loss to Westwood Friday Night at David Hughes Stadium. Hillers held a 20-0 lead in the 4th quarter, but the Wolverines fought back with 3 unanswered touchdowns and converting twice with 2 point P.A.T.'s. The Hillers head to Medway on Friday, October 2nd.

The Middle School Boys' soccer team won their game against Milford at home last Friday 8-0. The entire team played well. Steven Maffiore scored a hat trick. Devin Kelley and Jack Rodgers had two goals each. Jason Hicks also scored a goal. The boys travel to Ashland today.

Golf takes Second Win Against Ashland

The varsity team traveled down to Glen Ellen today to play Ashland for our second time this season. The Hillers won by a score of 260 – 285. The Hillers record is now 7 wins and 1 loss. We are tied for 2nd place in the TVL behind undefeated Medfield. We were able to take 12 players to Glen Ellen C.C. today which was really nice for some of our younger players to play this course. This is the home course of the Ashland and Millis teams. Here are the scores from today’s match:

Golf Team goes 6-1 with Win Over Millis

The Varsity team ran their record today to 6-1 with a convincing win over Millis by the score of 253 – 320. Leading the way for the Hillers today was Sr. Aidan Curry who shot a nice round of 40 –Kyle Schlicke and Nathan Tuite both shot 41’s – Chris Hadley and Jonathan Simmer ( both playing in their first varsity match ) both shot nice scores of 43’s – Dario Venuto shot 45 – Stephen Auslander had a 46 and Nick Scire shot a 47. Everyone has the day off tomorrow because of the Jewish Holiday.

Golf Whipped Wolverines, Soccer Ties Raiders

The Hiller Varsity Golf Team defeated Westwood today by a score of 251-261. The Varsity record is now 5-1. The Varsity will play at home on Tuesday, Sept. 22 vs. Millis. Today’s scores are as follows:
