HCAM's "Hopkinton Hangout Hour" returns Thursday April 9th at 2pm! In the first half hour, we talk with Laurel Coolbaugh from The Sanctuary at Woodville about spirituality and in the 2nd half hour, John Ritz, Tim Kilduff and Jill Shugart join us to discuss running.

The episode featured Hopkinton Hillers Varsity Baseball Coach, Stephen Simoes to talk about ways to stay in shape for the season as well as what the spring season future holds. HCAM presents the "Hopkinton Hangout Hour" the daily show will air on our YouTube page and on HCAM TV (Comcast Channel 8, Verizon Channel 30) daily starting this Wednesday (3/25) from 2 to 3pm. This daily hour-long show will typically have two thirty minute segments and the conversations will feature many various topics.

Town of Hopkinton Supports Boston Marathon Postponement

coronavirus pandemic.

Hopkinton Select Board Vice Chair, John Coutinho was at the Mayors office in Boston this morning to help announce the Boston Marathon has been postponed to Monday, September 14th due to the Coronavirus threat. He dropped by the HCAM studios to tell us about the postponement.

MIAA Cancels State Championships, Postpones Spring Season to March 30th

All MIAA Basketball/Hockey State Championship games have been cancelled. Spring Season postponed to March 30th. This is in response to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Video: Hillers Boys Basketball falls to Wayland in Sectional Finals

This past Saturday, the 8th seeded Hopkinton Hillers Boys Basketball team battled 6th seeded Wayland in the Boys Central Division 2 sectional championship at Worcester State University. Brian Keefe dropped 5 points on a pair of field goals in the 1st quarter to help lead the Hillers to a 12 to 11 lead heading into the 2nd quarter.

On Wednesday March 4, 2020, 6 athletes from the Hopkinton High School Alpine Ski Team competed at the 2020 Alpine Ski State Championship, held at Berkshire East Mountain in Charlemont, MA. The State Championship showcases the top racers in the state of Massachusetts: just 145 racers for girls and 146 racers for boys were invited to compete.

Video: Hopkinton Boys Hang on for Win over Milford in Sectional Semi-Finals

The 8th seeded Hopkinton Hillers Boys took on 4th seeded Milford Scarlet Hawks in the Central Division 2 sectional semi-finals. The Hillers got off to a 14-0 run to start the 1st quarter and ended up outscoring Milford 23 to 10 in the frame. Four different Hillers hit 3's in the 1st.

Milford struck back in the 2nd quarter and hit a few 3's of their own including a pair from Ralph Franklin Jr. Milford outscored the Hillers 21 to 14 in the 2nd. Hopkinton led at the halftime break 37 to 31.
