The Select Board recognized the Hopkinton Women's Club for 100 years of community service to the town, the organization was found in 1920. Throughout their existence the organization has created many well known events and programs to inform and benefit the Town. One of the many big contributions is their annual "Meet the Candidates" night program on HCAM in which they ask question to Town Election candidates, they also have created many Scholarship opportunities for Hopkinton students.

"The Hopkinton Women’s Club was organized in 1920 and we were admitted to the Women’s Club State Federation in 1920 and to the Women’s Club General Federation in 1926. Our primary fund raising project is the compilation, publication and distribution of the annual Hopkinton Community Register and Telephone Directory. We raise money by soliciting advertisers for the Directory. Profits are donated to the community through scholarships and awards at the high school and middle school and to numerous charitable organization in the community through Project HOPE (Hopkinton Organization for Positive Endeavors)."
