Friends of Hopkinton Seniors Annual Plant & Book Sale Saturday May 18th 9am-1pm

The Friends of the Hopkinton Seniors, Inc. will be holding their Annual Summer Vegetable, Flower and Book Fundraiser on Saturday, May 18th from 9:00am- 1:00pm at the Hopkinton Senior Center located at 28 Mayhew Drive, Hopkinton MA.

We are offering summertime favorites such as heirloom tomatoes and vegetables, essential pollinator flowers, herbs and container varieties grown by members of the center’s greenhouse. We will also have a variety books and donated garden accessories and perennials, all available for sale at wallet friendly prices.

Middlesex (MA) Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian and Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara recently served as featured presenters at the 2024 Public Safety Summit at Harvard University.

The leadership and education program for senior level law enforcement leaders including police chiefs, commissioners and sheriffs from across the country was held April 5-7 in Cambridge, Mass.

Hopkinton Garden Club’s 2024 Spring Plant Sale

Hopkinton Garden Club’s 2024 Spring Plant Sale will take place on Saturday, May 11 between 8am and Noon on the Hopkinton Town Common.

Club members will be selling a wide variety of annuals and perennials, many grown in their own gardens, including flowers, vegetables, herbs, house plants and hanging baskets. Cash, check and credit card payments will be accepted.

Hopkinton Public Library Awarded $6,000 State Grant to Preserve Local History Collection

Library Director Nanci Hill is pleased to announce that the Hopkinton Public Library has been awarded $6,000 through a Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners’ (MBLC) Preservation Assessment Grant.

The MBLC's Preservation Assessment Grant Program provides funding for libraries to preserve and make accessible irreplaceable local records that are important to a community's history.

Hopkinton Annual (and Special) Town Meeting 2024

A reminder that Hopkinton Annual Town Meeting 2024 will commence Monday May 6, 2024 7:00 PM, and may run for consecutive nights if needed. Special Town Meeting will commence Tuesday May 7, 2024 7:00 PM, and once Special Town Meeting ends, Annual Town Meeting will reconvene (if it was not completed Monday night).

Annual Town Meeting 2024 and Special Town Meeting 2024 will be held at the Hopkinton Middle School Auditorium, 88 Hayden Rowe. The Middle School Auditorium is accessible.

Sandwich, MA - The Massachusetts Military Support Foundation (MMSF) is excited to announce the fourth annual Fishing4Vets event, a charity fishing tournament designed to bring veterans and the community together for a day of camaraderie, competition, and Cape Cod's finest fishing. Taking place on June 9, 2024, this fun-filled event will raise essential funds to support our Food4Vets program, addressing the food insecurity needs of our nation's heroes.
