Golden Pond Assisted Living, an independent lifestyle and assisted living community, has named Katy Tavares as its new executive director.
Tavares brings more than 18 years of experience to her post where she oversees the day-to-day operations of the community. Golden Pond is located at 50 West Main Street in Hopkinton.

The MetroWest Anti-Casino Coalition (MWAAC) voted unanimously on August 29 to retain Green International Affiliates, Inc. (Green) to provide traffic impact peer review services for the proposed Foxwoods MA casino development in Milford, MA.
