Marlborough Panthers take down the Hopkinton Hillers

On Monday night the Marlborough Panthers eliminated the Hopkinton Hillers, winning in the Central Division 2 semi-finals at Worcester Polytechnic Institute 55-40. The Hillers made a remarkable comeback and got within two points in the 4th quarter after trailing most of the game but the Hillers offense went cold in the closing minutes. The Hillers could not get anything going in the first quarter as Marlborough hit 5 times from 3-point land and outscored Hopkinton 18-5 in the first quarter.

Hopkinton Boys Eliminate Wayland

In-front of a packed house at Wayland High School, the Hillers took down the Warriors 53-48 in the Central Division 2 Quarter Finals. The 1st quarter was a good offensive battle. Warriors Sophomore Forward Joey Luchetti (17 points) knocked down three 3 point field goals in the 1st to help Wayland to a 17-13 lead heading into the 2nd quarter.

Hiller Cheer 4peats TVL Title

Congratulations go out to the Hopkinton High Cheerleaders for winning their fourth TVL title in a row (no other Hopkinton Hiller Cheer team has ever accomplish this feat).

This season has been especially difficult for the Hopkinton cheerleaders for a couple of reasons. All this snow has forced schedule changes and missed practices. Also, several injuries have forced teammates to the sidelines. Still, they’ve been able to overcome all these obstacles and continue their winning ways.

Hopkinton takes down Medway in last game of Season

The Hopkinton Hillers Boys Varsity Basketball team bettered their playoff seeding by beating Medway 69-58. Both the 11 and 9 Hopkinton Hillers and the 9 and 9 Medway Mustangs have already clinched playoff spots but both teams know increasing the seeding could make their post season schedule a bit easier. Both teams held nothing back as they played their last game of the regular season Tuesday afternoon at Hopkinton High School.
