The first half hour featured Principal of Hopkinton High School, Evan Bishop and Middle School Principal, Alan Keller. The second half of the program featured Hopkinton Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Carol Cavanaugh.

Starting this coming week, the Hopkinton Center for the Arts has transitioned our spring classes into a virtual format (read more about how the HCA is keeping the arts alive in this MetroWest Daily News article). This is a great opportunity to keep yourself or your child busy and bring a small sense of normalcy to your day.

Much of life is out of our control. Join us in this session to learn to pay more attention to what you can control- your internal reactions and mental activity. Learn what you can stop doing that accomplishes nothing but to make things worse than they already have to be. Challenging times are stressful. It’s important to acknowledge that. But let’s minimize the self-created and self-inflicted stress.

-Grasp that you have control over what goes on inside of your head. If you don’t, then who or what does?
