The Town of Hopkinton Seeks a Full-Time Public Safety Dispatcher

Under general guidance of the Dispatch Supervisor and direction of the Chief of Police, the Public Safety Dispatchers are part of the Public Safety Communications Center. Our dedicated and highly trained professionals routinely offer life-saving medical instructions in addition to providing accurate public safety information.

Vietnam era Veterans Awarded Lapel Pin from Department of Defense

A packed house was in attendance at the December monthly Veterans Breakfast. Milford VFW Commander and Chairman of the "Viet Nam the 50th Massachusetts Inc." , Steve Petak was the guest speaker and presented any Veteran who served during the Vietnam War era a Department of Defense approved lapel pin to commemorate their service. Hopkinton Public Library Cookie Swap December 14th

Want to participate in our cookie swap at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, December 14? Be sure to sign up by Wednesday, December 7! (We won't hold the swap if we don't have enough participants.) You can register by e-mailing hbackman@hopkintonma.gov or calling 508-497-9777.

Please plan to bring at least two dozen (24) cookies and a large, sturdy container to take home your samples of other participants' cookies. All participants will receive a copy of each recipe from the swap.

Christmas Sale & Silent Auction

The Christmas Sale and Silent Auction is happening at the Hopkinton Senior Center, 28 Mayhew Street. The Christmas Sale is on Friday, December 2 from 9:00 AM-6:00 PM, and Saturday, December 3 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Bidding is currently happening for the Silent Auction Gift Baskets, and the bidding closes on December 3 at noon.

The Christmas Sale will have Christmas decorations, a bake sale, wreaths, quilted items, Christmas books, and book sets.

Local 4-H Group Raises Money for Dog Shelter Awareness

A local 4-H group from the Natick Community Organic Farm (NCOF) raised $525.74, collected pounds of supplies and awareness for a local dog shelter called Buddy Dog Humane Society at 151 Boston Post Road in Sudbury, on Sunday, November 6 at Roche Bros. in Natick. The NCOF group consists of kids from 8-18 years old and the local surrounding towns interested in working with and around farm animals.

Treblemakers Spirit of the Season Concert

Performances are at the Delbridge Family Performance Center at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (98 Hayden Rowe Street).

Tickets are $10.00 general admission and may be purchased at the door. Light refreshments included.
