Wednesday May 10th the 10 and 1 Hillers softball team took on 7 and 5 Medfield. Bottom of the 2nd, Hillers trailing 1-0 the Catcher Jillian Cedia changes that witha swing of the bat. Bottom of the 4th Hillers trailing 2-1, Jillian Cedia strikes again and ties the game at 2. Katy Holly steps up with bases loaded and 2 outs and draws a walk to put the Hillers up 3-2. WIth the game tied at 4 a piece in the bottom of the 7th, Lindsay Whittles closes it out by crushing a homer over the centerfield fence. Hillers take the game in walkoff fashioned 6 to 4 and improve to 11-1.

In baseball the 7 and 2 Westwood Wolverines visited the red hot 5 and 2 Hopkinton Hillers. After starting 0-2 the Hillers won 5 straight. Hopkinton took the victory 14-7 and improves to 6 and 2 while Westwood falls to 7 and 3.

-Geoffrey Kirui of Kenya won the mens title with a time of 2.09.37 and Edna Kiplagat took home the women's title with a time of 2.21.52.

-2014 Boston Marathon winner and local hero, Meb Keflezighi ran his final compeititve Boston Marathon and placed 12th overall.

-America had a great showing in the Marathon, 6 of the top 10 runners on the mens side were from America, including 2nd place Galen Rupp who finished in 2nd just 21 seconds behind the winner. On the women's side, 2 americans finished in the top 10, Jordan Hasay in 3rd and Desiree Linden in 4th.

On Friday, June 23rd, 2017 we will be hosting our seventh annual golf tournament at Shining Rock Golf Club to support the Hopkinton High School Football Program. Last year's event was a huge success thanks to the many folks like you who contributed by playing, sponsoring a hole or simply donating to the event.

For the 25th year in row, John Hancock introduced the Elmwood students to some of the elite Marathon runners from Kenya. This year the runners at Elmwood included 2012 Men's Boston Marathon Champion, Wesley Korir, 2015 Women's Boston Marathon Champion, Caroline Rotich and also Wilson Chebet, Geoffrey Kirui, Sammy Kitwara, Emmanuel Mutai, Daniel Salel, Joyce Chepkirui, Gladys Cherono, Valentine Kipketer, Edna Kipligat and Brigid Kosgei. The 2016-2017 Division 2 State Champion Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball Team was honored at Fenway Park before the Boston Red Sox game on Tuesday (4/11). The Hillers captured their 2nd state championship in the past 3 seasons and finished 22 and 2 overall with 16 sweeps. The Hillers Swept Notre Dame Academy in the State championship game on Saturday November 19th. Check out tweets from their visit below!

On a side note the Boston Red Sox defeated the Baltimore Orioles 8-1 to improve to 4 and 3 on the season. #HillersLuck

Kathrine Switzer was born in Amberg, Germany in 1947. She is an American Author, Television commentator and a marathon runner who will be participating in this years Boston Marathon.

The Hillers hockey team finished the regular season with a 17 win, 2 loss and 1 tie record. That record qualified as the best regular season record in school history. Hillers Hockey lost their 2nd game in the playoffs 4-3 in a double-overtime thriller against Old Rochester. The team recently closed out their memorable season with the annual end of the season banquet. View highlights of the banquet below.
