Ashland Legion Baseball returns to HCAM and WACA TV for 4th season!

For the 4th season HCAM TV in Hopkinton and WACA TV in Ashland will air taped broadcasts of Ashland Legion Baseball Post 77 home games and a few road games! All home games will be played at Ashland Middle School. HCAM's Tom Nappi will provide play by play of the games, Larry Saklad will provide analysis during the broadcasts while WACA TV will work the camera.

HCAM-ED airs on Comcast channel 96 and on Verizon channel 31. HCAM-TV is Hopkinton's Public and Governmental channel airing on Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 30.

Hopkinton Hillers Playoff Update 6/6/2017

Hopkinton High School should be proud as all Hillers spring teams qualified for a postseason spot. View the playoff results for Baseball, Softball, Tennis and Lacrosse below. Baseball and Softball are left standing and will both play home games Wednesday (June 7th).

Video: Hillers Softball Defeats Dartmouth in Wild Saturday Game

On Saturday (6/3) the Hopkinton Hillers Softball team took down Dartmouth 2-1. The Hillers scored their only 2 runs in the bottom of the 1st when Lindsay Whittles hit a 2 rbi single to drive in Katy Holly and Maille Bennett. Despite the low score, this game featured a runners interference call, a Heather Holly liner that hit Maille Bennett to end a potential rally and a wild ending.

Hillers Baseball takes down Plymouth North to Advance

Since 2008, Plymouth North's varsity baseball team has played in the Division 2 state championship game four times, winning twice. And just last season, Plymouth North was the first Division 2 team ever selected for the Super 8 tournament, so the 9th seeded Hopkinton varsity baseball team was facing a tall task in traveling to face the number 8 Eagles in round one of this year's MIAA baseball tourney. But a seventh inning rally keyed by senior Ryan Wolfe helped senior Chris Burdick's pitching gem stand up in a 3-1 win for the Hillers.

Hopkinton Hillers Spring Sports Playoff Update 6/1/2017

There is a lot of playoff action for Thursday June 1st! All Spring teams for the Hillers clinched a playoff spot! Home Games include Boys Lacrosse and Boys Tennis. Road games include Baseball and Girls Tennis.

On June 1st, Boys Lacrosse will meet up on Field 3 (football field) with the Westwood Wolverines at 4pm in their 1st postseason game. Boys Tennis will also host Westwood in their first playoff match of the season at 3pm.

Video: Hillers Baseball Update 5-24-2017

On Thursday May 18th, the 7 and 5 Hopkinton Hillers took on 11 and 6 Ashland. The game was scoreless until the bottom of the 3rd, Jake Leblanc came up with bases loaded and no outs. Leblanc knocked in 2 RBI's with a basehit to put the Hillers up 2-0. Ashland scored a run in the top of the 4th to make it a 2-1 game, Hillers added on to the 2-1 lead in the bottom of the 5th, with 2 outs and 2 on, starting pitcher Brendan Kelly crushed a 3 run HR over the Centerfield fence to put the Hillers up 5-1, the Kelly 3 run homer scores himself, Brian Gaughan, Chris Burdick.

Video: 2017 TVL Track & Field Meet

It was a hot 95 degree day and track & field athletes from throughout the TVL competed to try to take home the division championship.

Below in the video you see results from some of the various events. On the boys side Dover-Sherborn took first overall scoring 101 points and 3 more than 2nd place Westwood, Medway came in 3rd with 86. On the girls side Hopkinton took home 1st in a landslide with 135 points. Holliston was 2nd with 86 and Medfield 3rd with 66.
